 | The Lincoln Park Zoo Lincoln Park Zoo is a free zoo which is open year-round. Two sections of Lincoln Park Zoo have been set aside for children. The Zoo's history dates back to the late 19th Century, and two of its enduring facilities are the Lion House (1912) and the original Primate House (1925).Yet, the zoo has been continually updated thanks in large part to the generosity of a group of local philanthropists. In recent years, they've help bring to the Zoo the Regenstein African Journey exhibit, the Regenstein Center for African Apes, and the Pritzker Family Children's Zoo. |
