Homescout Has HeartHomescout's young professional real estate agents help thousands of people find homes and get acclimated in the city of Chicago. Through their community engagement efforts, including volunteering for non-profits such as PAWS, Chicago Gateway Green and Right Angle Foundation; and hosting seasonal "drives" for a cause, Homescout's staff hopes to use their network and outreach to give back to the city that has given them so much.

Greater Chicago Food Depository

The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, is a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community. The Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 600 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to 500,000 adults and children in Cook County every year. Last year, the Food Depository distributed 58 million pounds of nonperishable food and fresh produce, dairy products and meat, the equivalent of 119,000 meals every day.

Innovative training programs and initiatives developed by the Food Depository also work to provide men, women and children with the tools necessary to break their individual cycles of poverty.

Imerman Angels

Imerman Angels carefully matches and individually pairs a person touched by cancer (a cancer fighter or survivor) with someone who has fought and survived the same type of cancer (a Mentor Angel). Cancer caregivers (spouses, parents, children and other family and friends of fighters) also receive 1-on-1 connections with other caregivers and survivors. These 1-on-1 relationships inspire hope and offer the chance to ask personal questions and receive support from someone who is uniquely familiar with the experience. The service is absolutely free and helps anyone touched by any type of cancer, at any cancer stage level, at any age, living anywhere in the world.

Right Angle Foundation

The Right Angle is a not-for-profit organization 501 (c) (3) in the State of Illinois on December 17, 1996. We provide financial support for low-income high school students in Chicago's West Town community through two programs:
Summer of a Life Time Program: Enables low-income high school students to participate in summer college enrichment programs at universities throughout the world. Each year we send 50-60 qualified students to Summer of a Lifetime programs.
College Scholarship Program: Provides students who have attended the Summer of a Lifetime programs scholarships to cover college expenses.

Bin Donated provides a free collection, warehousing and distribution service that solves all these problems for local charities. We all have items from under our bathroom sink, in our pantry, collecting dust in a storage locker or on a bookshelf somewhere that we could donate to a charity if it was easy. Bin Donated makes it easy for anyone to donate everyday items on a monthly basis. Our barrels are always collecting a different item and we continue to work with local companies to receive large shipments of items for distribution.
